We are galloping with joy, yet again. This time, we happened to be guests at the 118th annual Devon Horse Show. Originally intended to be one-time-only, the event burgeoned into the oldest and largest multi-breed outdoor competition in the United States. It is truly a top-pedigree show, having earned the coveted A-grade from the USEF; as of 2010, the Devon Horse Show is the fourth American horse show to be recognized in the USEF Heritage Competition. Other accolades include capturing fifty percent o the titles for Horse Show of the Year, Hunter Derby of the Year in 2011, second place among 25 in the exclusive American Riders Group, and more.
The Ladies’ Day Committee hosted its third Ladies’ Day on Wednesday, May 28. 2014. The Hat Contest was presented by Walter Cook Jewelers of Paoli. The event was also sponsored by Celebrity Cruises, Main Line Land Rover and Jaguar, Dressage Collections, J Maki Winery, Pinnacle Vodka and Wayne Magazine.
